Welcome to www.helenloupatterson ("we," "our," or "us"). By browsing my portfolio, purchasing art, or commissioning a custom piece, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully.

 

1. Intellectual Property & Copyright

  • Artist ownership: Helen Lou Patterson 

  • No reproduction: Buying an original piece of artwork or a print does not grant you the right to reproduce, copy, or sell the image for commercial purposes.

  • Personal use: You are welcome to share images of the art on social media, provided you credit Helen Lou Patterson or @helenloupatterson.

 

2. Artwork Pricing and Availability

  • Unique pieces: Originals are sold on a first-come, first-served basis. Items in your cart are not reserved until checkout is complete.

  • Color accuracy: I make every effort to display artwork colors accurately. However, actual colors may vary slightly depending on your computer screen settings.

 

3. Shipping, Damages, and Returns

  • Shipping: Art is packaged securely and shipped via USPS. Shipping fees and delivery times are calculated at checkout.

  • Damaged goods: If your artwork arrives damaged, please contact me within 48 hours with photos of the damaged packaging and art so I can assist you.

  • Returns: Due to the delicate nature of original art, all sales of [original paintings/custom commissions] are final. Returns on prints are accepted within [14] days.

 

4. Commissioned Artwork

  • Deposit: Custom art commissions require a 50% non-refundable deposit before work begins.

  • Approval: I will send digital proofs for approval before final delivery. Once approved and the final balance is paid, the art will be shipped.

 

5. Limitation of Liability

  • The website is provided "as is." I am not liable for any technical issues or delivery delays caused by third-party shipping carriers.
